Rules and Regulations
Ponderosa Pines Family Campground
- All visitors must register on arrival regardless of length of stay. Daily visitor’s fees are $8.00 for each adult,
$4.00 for each child. Overnight visitor’s fees are $12.00 for each adult, $6.00 for each child.
- NO construction materials, skids, or garbage are to be burned due to environmental and safety hazards. Please do
not leave campfires unattended.
- All dogs must be leashed at all times and barking kept under control. Leash may not be any longer than 6 feet.
No more than two (2) dogs per site. No dogs allowed in the pool area or in the lake. Pets cannot be left
unattended at your site and must be cleaned up after. Due to insurance regulations, all Pit Bulls, Dobermans,
Chows, Rottweilers, and Wolf-Hybrids are strictly prohibited. Anyone who does not pick up after pets will be
asked to leave their pets home and/or be fined $5.00.
- No cutting of trees. No chainsaws allowed. Do not build bridges or dam up streams/run off areas.
- Parents are responsible and liable for the actions of their children at all times. Children must be at YOUR site
by 10:30 p.m. Parents are responsible for policing their own children and making sure that they are back to
YOUR site by curfew. No exceptions.
- Entering the woods behind the sites is strictly forbidden.
- Campfires in the woods is strictly forbidden.
- All children 5 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- Quiet hours are 11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Pool hours are
11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., weather permitting.
- Speed limit is 5 m.p.h., which is strictly enforced. Anyone violating the speed limit will be asked to leave.
- Limit of 8 people per site, including visitors. Only 2 vehicles per site, all others must park in designated area –
no exceptions. Do not park in anyone else’s site. This rule also applies to your guests.
- All daily visitors must leave campground by 11:00 p.m. or will be charged accordingly.
- Alcoholic beverages are restricted to your site. Transporting and Displaying of alcohol in common areas of the
campground is strictly prohibited. Excessive alcohol use will not be tolerated. Underage drinking is strictly
prohibited. Anyone minor violating this rule and their family will be subject to possible expulsion from the
campground.
- No children under the age of 14 are permitted in the pool without adult supervision.
- Children are not allowed to play in restrooms. The bathhouse is cleaned daily, please help keep it clean.
- Bicycle riding after dark is prohibited. Due to the unsafe terrain, please do not ride bikes on Hillside Drive.
Anyone who is injured while disregarding this rule shall hold Ponderosa Pines Campground harmless and free of
liability.
- Smoking is prohibited in all buildings (store, bathhouses, cabins, etc.) and within 15 feet of the pool.
- Motorcycles, ATVs, dirt bikes, fireworks, and firearms are strictly prohibited.
- No swimming in lake. No rock throwing in lake. Fishing is catch and release only.
- No glass containers allowed in pool area. Please walk in pool area – no running pushing, or horseplay. No
lifeguard own duty – swim at your own risk.
- Please do not enter POSTED PROPERTY. Property across the lake and beyond the hill sites are private property.
- Please dispose of trash in dumpster (food garbage only). Please take home any broken lawn chairs, microwaves,
appliances, bikes, etc. These items will not be taken by our garbage company and will cost us additional fees to
have them removed from the campground.
- No refunds. Management assumes no responsibility for loss by fire, theft, accident, etc. We reserve the right
to evict any person(s) for failure to abide by the rules.
- Please do not walk thru or enter upon anyone’s site whether it’s empty or occupied. Please be considerate of your
neighbors.
- Campfires (not bonfires) are permitted and should never be left unattended. Please extinguish fires prior to
leaving or retiring for the evening.
- Usage of any docks is limited to campsite tenant.
- Do not move fire rings without permission.
- Each camper shall be responsible for advising their visitors to register at the Office. They must pay a visitor
fee and display their pass on the rear view mirror of their vehicle at all times while in the campground. We do
check all unfamiliar vehicles for the safety of our guests and children.
- Heated Pool: Swim at your own risk. Pool rules and hours as posted.
- A variety of sporting equipment is available for use, free of charge, to registered campers.
- Early arrival/late departure charge is $10.00 (campsite only).
- Early arrival/late departure charge is $30.00 (cabins only).
- Additional sleeping unit on site pays $20.00.
- Electric hot water heaters are not allowed!
